Voices at end of gog samples

Post by redcatstudios »

OK, I refuse to believe that nobody else has heard these and Im pretty sure theyre not voices in my head (again).

At the trail end of certain gog samples, it is clear to hear a voice (with an American accent) saying something like...

"OK, now for the loud ones"

I had a band in recently and we were just using drumagog on the kick and snare and as we stopped the recording half way through WE ALL heard this strange voice. When I get a minute, I will export it and post it on here. Im just interested to know if anyone else has heard it ?

Anyone ???

I've heard the one with the backward masked "kill, kill, kill" but not the one you mentioned. :lol:

Seriously, let us all know so we can all remove it from our sample stash too!

YES! Play it backwards and it says: "Turn me on deadman".

Mystery solved! It was a sample recorded by StudioCat (Purrrfect Drums). It's in the following gog file:

Folder: Purrrfect Kicks
Yamaha 22 Single (Mix2).gog
Sample = Ya203

There's no need to delete the whole gog file, just the single Ya203 sample. You can delete this by going into the samples tab.

Apparently Jim says "OK, now the loud hits". Sorry for any trouble this has caused.
