Curing Lag

Post by drummist22 »

Hello, Is there a way to cure the lag in Drumagog 5, each triggered beat is slightly behind the actual beat, so at the moment I'm having to bounce each triggered drum track and then import it back it and line it up manually.

Hello,

This issue can be caused by using an audio program without plugin delay compensation, such as Pro Tools 8 LE (or earlier), which has no delay compensation. A workaround for this is to shift the track 80 ms (the default latency setting in Drumagog 5) earlier.

The newly released Pro Tools 9 includes built-in delay compensations (like every other product on the market), to eliminate the steps of bouncing and adjusting the track. So you could also upgrade to PT9.

Cheers,
