Muted samples-Must these changes be saved to a gog?

Post by Steelkat »

I am using the samples page to mute various samples in a gog to allow only the "crack" samples in the gog to be triggered. Is it necessary to save these changes to either the existing gog or a new one? Logic 8.02 seems to forget the muting selections after a while, usually after saving and reloading a song. Is this normal behavior? Or should the host remember these settings?

Thanks,

TD

The mute information isn't normally saved by the host or in a preset, but saving it as a new gog file should work. To save space I'll usually delete the samples I don't want instead of muting them, and then saving as a separate gog file.
