Hello, my ASIO usage inside Cubase 5 has been maxing after using Drumagog 5. I was wondering if there is a preferred drive to keep Gog files on to get the best performance.
I have Cubase installed in my laptop's internal 5400rpm drive. All VST's are on that same drive, but I record/playback audio to external drive that is a 7200rpm.
Currently my Gog files are on the internal 5400rpm drive, wondering if I will get a boost if I move them to the external 7200rpm drive?

Re: Best practices to put Gog files for performance
Hello,
It's worth a try, but I can't say that it will certainly improve the performance. If it does, feel free to follow up to confirm.
Thanks,
Chris
