Installing sounds on OSX

Post by rockpolice »

Hi,

I installed Drumagog4 on my mac pro (snow leopard and PT HD 8.0.1) few weeks ago and tried to install the free sound sets (Drumagog Electronic snares.bin etc) after installing the plug-in and it just made a copy of the file with an odd extension. So I tried to find some info here on the forum and google and installed Stuffit expander and The unarchiver and neither of them could install or open the files, they just gave an error message. Any idea what to do?

Thanks, Ilkka

Hello,

The Drumagog 4 Sample Library installers are compressed with Stuffit, and should be usable with the Stuffit Expander window (i.e. just drag the .bin file into the Expand box). If you receive an error doing this then there may have been a problem with your download being corrupted; generally re-downloading the problematic file will fix the issue.

We also offer the Sample library in uncompressed format, where you can choose to download the individual .gog files directly into your "Gog Files" folder.
