Will Mic/Headphone Splitter Work?

Post by soundog »

Hi ... I have a cable that splits the 4-pin 3.5mm connector to stereo headphone out, and mic in. I use it all the time with apps like 4-Track, T-Pain, etc. Would it work with Voice Band?

I took a chance and bought the app. The splitter worked. I am glad. Sometimes life is about taking big risks. Once I had to jump across a muddy creek to get to the other side, and was already late for work. I could have walked upstream for a half mile and crossed a bridge, but that would take too long. So, I stepped back, got a good run going, and jumped across!! I fell in the creek and got all wet and muddy, and when I got to work they made me go home and change my clothes. But I got across that creek! I forgot why I was telling you this.

Glad to hear it. Can you let me know what adapter you bought? It's good to know it works!

Thanks,

I think it will work if you know how to balance the impedance of the microphone and the headphone. The splitter will also work. However, I can see that your tuner is an auto-balancer so you won’t have to configure it.
