Mic Trigger Mode not responsive to faster beats

Post by stpete111 »

Hi Rim, iGog has been a great product so far, I'm enjoying it quite a bit.

My only complaint is the responsiveness (lack thereof) in Mic Trigger mode when I'm playing faster beats, for example, a double kick drum beat. When I play a double kick drum beat on the BD pad itself, the samples are perfectly triggered, but when I play the same beat right next to my iphone mic in mic trigger mode, several beats are missed, almost as though the mic can't "keep up." I have tried it at all different Sensitivity positions on the slider, and no luck. Any ideas?

I have an iPhone 3GS and I know for sure that most of my memory is available for iGog.

Thanks.

Ok, latest version of the app has greatly improved this problem. It's still not 100%, but it's pretty darn close. I find it works best by putting the Sensitivity slider all the way up, and playing about 12 inches away from the mic. If you get too close to the mic, it'll actually miss some hits.

Thanks for the improvement!
