New Supersonic Demo (METAL)

Post by Supersonic » Fri Jan 04, 2008 2:18 am

I was creating a new kick sample set and I liked it so much for metal that I created a new demo using it. :) It's a pretty raw demo but it has that metal character so I thought you may want to hear it anyway.

Thanks!

That sample in particular was a Gretsch Maple kick with a D6 about 6 inches inside the drum, of axis. There was also a 57 on the beater side which was phase corrected. Both through APIs into the computer. From there they were mixed and some EQ was done with some UAD EQs (mostly cuts), then they were sent out to an 1176 for some compression. Plastic beater.

id say yes and no. there are enough in there to get you started, but the ones you can purchase blow the included ones away.

Strange issue. Make sure ou are using the "fixed latency" version of dgog.

I hope you're enjoying the Supersonic samples!
