.gog File Editing

Post by TempleIslandSound »

Hi All,
Has anyone found a way to edit a .gog file.
I have a Porkpie Snare gog file thats a great sample but there is a bad low end frequency at the decay.
I have tried Gating and Eqing but takes too much of the important frequencies out.
My goal is to shorten or fade the decay...I have tried several audio editing programs but I get a message that it cannot open audio layered files...
any suggestions?

Thanks
Bob

Hi Bob,
Due to licensing restrictions, there is no way to 'unwrap' a Gog File once it is created, even if your own. We are looking into a possible way around this for future versions of Drumagog. We need a way to protect our 3rd party Gog File Developers while allowing Users to gain access to their raw files if need be.
