Sure - this is possible. Just make sure you right click on the file instead of left, and choose "save link as".

You don't need to do consecutive updates. You can upgrade from any 4.x version to 4.04 As far as pevious sessions and settings, Drumagog 4.04 is compatible with all old sessions using Drumagog except with the VST version of 4.03.
