Re: Meter oversight

You're right, this was a simple oversight. It'll be included in the next update.

Thanks for spotting it!

Re: Voice Band crashing at startup

I'm not sure I understand. Did you try to completely remove Voice Band from your phone, then re-purchase it? 1. Hold down the Voice Band icon for 1 few seconds until it starts to shake. 2. click the X button above the icon 3. After it's deleted, go to the App Store and purchase Voice Band again (you...

Re: Voice Band crashing at startup

Hi,

To solve this problem, just delete the app completely, then purchase it again (you won't get charged).

Thanks,

Re: recommendations please for phone/buds with built in mic

Unfortunately, Voice Band will not work at all with a first generation iPod Touch. This is simply because it doesn't have a 4-pin headphone jack (4 pins are required to support headsets with microphones).

Re: Microphone and Headphones plug/unplug issues

The 2G iPhone is a unique device, in that it's micorphone is limited to an 8Khz max. sample rate. This is the reason why Voice Band doesn't allow playback to happen without a headset plugged in on a 2G. When you use regular headphones, or use the build-in speaker, Voice Band can't set the sample rat...

Re: Sustaining notes without the pitchiness...

If you set Voice Band to a scale, for example C Major, your vibrato shouldn't affect Voice Band very much.

Re: Can't start new tune

Hi,

To start a new tune, press the "Erase Recoding" button first. This erases the current song, so you can create a new one. Don't worry, it won't erase your saved song, so you will still be able to load your saved song later.

Re: Sustaining notes without the pitchiness...

Hi,

Many of these features will be included in the pro version of voice band. The current version is targeted at a broad audience, so it lacks many of the parameters you mentioned for simplicity.

Re: Can I get the full version?

Actually, it won't work that way. The app store doesn't know you upgraded to the full version (it knows you bought something "called" an upgrade, but it doesn't know what that actually is). So you would get charged if you re-purchase the full version. If you bought the lite version, then u...

Thanks for the compliments. We are working on a pro version of Voice Band, and we're currently looking into a way to support looping. I'll keep you posted.

Re: expoting wav file?

Hi,

The reason Voice Band converts to MP3 before emailing, is because most email inboxes do not allow large attachments. If we didn't convert to MP3, you probably wouldn't be able to email a song larger than 2 minutes.

Re: Issue/Suggestion: pitch correction is far too sensitive.

Hi, these are great ideas, and some of them are going to be included in Voice Band Pro (which we're working on). Keep in mind that the current version of Voice Band is targeted at a broad audience, so it lacks some of the more advanced parameters that would let you fine tune things. As far as gettin...
