Re: How to NOT install RTAS versions?

Neil, Unfortunately, it's impossible to not install the RTAS version of Drumagog, since our installer automatically installs all versions (VST, AU, and RTAS). This was done in an effort to make it simple for most users. However, you can choose to install it in a different location and/or simply dele...

Re: transproting drumagog

Hello, We just tested this out ourselves with Drumagog 4 in Logic, and were successfully able to do this. After you disconnect your external F drive, you need to open the project and go to the Advanced section and (only once, on a single instance) and switch the default folder to the internal drive'...

Re: transproting drumagog

It should not matter if it's on an external or internal drive. The sample path required to keep the settings is the relative path to the default GOG folder. Make sure the GOG folder that you've designated is the same as in the Advanced Page on the original project. Basically, have the exact same fol...

Re: Battery samples in drumagog

Hello, Battery's samples are not compatible with Drumagog, as they are protected. To trigger Battery's samples through Drumagog, you must use the MIDI Out feature (in Pro and Platinum). This will allow Drumagog to create a MIDI signal which will be routed to a MIDI track with Battery on it to trigge...

Re: Drumagog 5 basic tracking POORLY

To those following:

Drumagog 5 Basic tracked fine. It appears the issue was a bad install of an older update. The user installed the latest Drumagog 5.11 update for Basic, and found the issue to be resolved.

Re: Drumagog 5 basic tracking POORLY

Why don't you email us the audio file that you are triggering to support@drumagog.com. We'd love to take a look at it and see why Drumagog 5 is giving you trouble. It also would be easier for us to see what the issue is having the track on our system here.

Cheers,
Jack

Re: Recording Midi Out in PT

Hello, To use Drumagog's MIDI Out in Pro Tools, you need to download a piece of software that will allow you to route the MIDI signal Drumagog creates back into Pro Tools on your MIDI Track. This is because Pro Tools does not allow you to do this natively. Here's the link to instructions for creatin...

Re: igog

Even if your network is created from your Mac, IP address gets passed to iGOG from the device (iPad). This means that your iPad has not connected to your network's WIFI. The iGOG has no control over this. This is a setting in your iPad. First, check your Settings on the iPad. Go to WIFI, and click o...

Re: Drumagog 5 basic tracking POORLY

Hello, We are sorry you are experiencing trouble with Drumagog's triggering. This can be caused by several issues with the recorded audio. First, we can assure you that Drumagog 5's triggering and alignment are greatly improved from Drumagog 4. If there is any difference in the triggering, then it i...

First, make sure the iPad is connected to the same wireless network as your computer. This is because the iPad is not connecting to your home WIFI network.

Re: Drumagog 5 Plat w BFD 2 Blending Issue

Mike,

I believe you emailed about this, but here is what I sent:

Check the blend control on both the Main mixer in Drumagog, as well as the blend control in the Plugin Hosting section. You could have the blend all the way to the original track on the Main mixer.

Cheers,
Jack

Mac OSX 10.7 Lion Compatibility

Drumagog Users, As many of you know, Apple released their latest operating system Mac OSX 10.7 (Lion) today. We have been testing Drumagog 4 and 5 on the new platform all day. Thus far, we have not run into any issues. However, with any new operating system there is the chance of finding some bugs h...

Re: Question Regarding Playback Timing

Hello, Yes, there is a quantizing option in the Sequencing section that you likely have turned on. Turning this off will most likely fix the issue. Make sure the Resolution Slider is set to OFF. The mixdown button saves an audio file to the app. You need to use the File Transfer section that is an F...

Nick, We are sorry that you are experiencing trouble with authorizing via License Files and the latency. I'm sure we can solve both of these: First we'll tackle the License Files freezing issue. This sounds like your Permissions on your system are not allowing Pace's authorizations to create the fil...

Re: Samples ringing out

Thanks for your interest in Drumagog. It depends on what you are doing in Drumagog. Most of the time, Drumagog lets the previous sample hit decay. Example: You have a tom, which has a long decay time. Drumagog will let that first hit decay while starting the second hit. This is because decay is prim...
