Which option did you use to download the samples, the individual samples or the automatic installer? Both only include .gog files, as we do not offer our library in wave or aiff format. Would the .gog extension have become associated with a non-Drumagog application? Depending on your operating syste...

Hello, and sorry to hear your are encountering some issues using Drumagog and BFD together. Can you check which versions of Drumagog and BFD2 you are using? There were some reported instances of this with older versions of BFD2, so if you can check please let us know. In either case, if you don't ha...

In Mac OS X, applications store their preferences information on a per-user basis. Drumagog is complaining that it cannot find a necessary file, which is most likely one contained in your Admin-User's library, when your new user account needs its own copy. There are two ways to do this. First, the s...

I have step-by-step instructions for using Drumagog's MIDI in with SONAR. We'll be adding this to our SONAR page on the website ( http://www.drumagog.com/sonar.asp ): 1. Open the SONAR plug-in manager and select Drumagog (Fixed Latency) from your list of VST Audio Effects. Click Plugin Properties an...

Drumagog's authorization system is tied to a number of factors, both hardware and software, from your CPU, motherboard, hard drive, to the version of your operating system. Replacing your system hard drive, re-installing your operating system, imaging your operating system to a new computer, each of...

I'm sorry you are having trouble with our demo and Pro Tools. The run-time redistributable you updated is the usual fix for problems with Drumagog appearing in Pro Tools. If both that and re-installing (and re-installing can cause problems with your 14-day trial) do not get Drumagog to appear, you m...

We don't know either if this has changed in SONAR 8, as we don't have an updated version yet here in our office. I can say that in any version up to and including SONAR 7, in order to use Drumagog's MIDI input you would need an additional add-on utility called DirectiXer (http://www.hitsquad.com/smm...

The Input and Threshold controls only come up when using Add From Track, and they mimic the same controls in the main Drumagog window. When the incoming signal level is above the threshold, Drumagog will sample that hit. There are not any controls when using Add From File, as you simply select betwe...

You mention this happens even when using Add from File. Can you confirm how you're creating the individual samples that you then import into Drumagog, and if you've checked these samples outside of Drumagog to see how they sound? You don't mention how Drumagog sounds using it's own samples. Is there...

I'm sure exactly what is happening, but Drumagog shouldn't alter the sound when it samples a track, or you add saved sample files into a Gog file. Check the "blend" knob and check it at 100% to make sure you are only hearing the new sample by itself, in case the old and new samples don't s...

The Basic, Pro and Platinum versions all share the same code, so there really wouldn't be a difference between them, where one works where another doesn't. It sounds more like something went wrong during the demo installation that was corrected when you reinstalled using Basic. In either case, I'm g...

The "Auto" setting is the smallest time window available in Drumagog. The actual resolution is affected by the Details slider under the Advanced tab. The farther to the right the more sensitive Drumagog is to ghost notes, flams, etc, but the higher the possibility of encountering false tri...

Double check that you have the Advanced triggering mode selected, and not Simple mode. The lowest possible setting in Simple mode is 23 ms, while in Advanced mode the "Auto" setting has the smallest window. The main reason not to use the Auto setting is when you want to eliminate flams, gh...

I'm sorry the demo isn't showing up properly. Whenever a plugin's UI widow doesn't open, one of the first things to check is a corrupted plugin cache. Digidesign has some a Tech Support utility for troubleshooting problems with plugins, and its available through the Digidesign website. On a side not...

Hello, and thanks for the input.

Increasing visible name-size is definitely on our list for any future UI redesigns. You don't want to see some of the abbreviations I'm using for my library, sometimes I could use a chart to find what I'm looking for.
