If you see a message at the bottom of Drumagog's plugin window that says "Click to unlock", then Drumagog is indeed locked. Since Drumagog's authorization is tied to system hardware like the system drive, changing this can re-lock Drumagog. The sure-fire way to fix this is to manually take...

There is some delay when using a utility like MIDI Pipe to re-route the signal for Pro Tools. At this time, since Pro Tools does not support any built-in way to route MIDI from plugins to MIDI tracks, using an outside utility is the only way to do this. Regarding the question about signal level, I'm...

From your description it sounds like you need a new unlock code to unlock Pro. Be sure to use the login information (name, email, phone) that is registered to your copy of Pro when submitting a new unlock code request at http://www.drumagog.com/support.asp If you aren't sure what you used when regis...

Can you tell me some additional information, like what kind of computer and OS you're using?

"Error opening MIDI port" usually is a result of having mis-configured virtual MIDI ports (like MIDI Pipe in Mac OS or MIDI Yoke in Windows). Are you using one of these?

Pro Tools does not include any specific render/apply effect/freeze track command. The only way to do this is to perform a bounce to a new track manually.

Hello,

No, there aren't any known issues concerning Add From Track. What kind of problem are you experiencing, and what kind of system are you using?

Pro Tools 8 doesn't change anything related to RTAS plugins, and is officially supporting any plugin that was supported in 7.4 (like Drumagog). It sounds like the plugin database or possibly something like a preference file has been corrupted in the upgrade. The first thing to try in this situation ...

In order for Drumagog, BFD and Cubase to all sync up, there are a couple of things to check: First, make sure you're using the "Fixed Latency" version of Drumagog, as this is the version of Drumagog that supports Plugin Delay Compensation. Second, be sure to add the plugins in the correct ...

The cause here can be a couple of things. First, there is the difference between how "off" they are. If you need to move the resulting track 80ms (the total latency amount of Drumagog Fixed Latency), then the Pro Tools delay compensation is not working. It should be consistent, though, and...

Do you have any latency if using BFD by itself, i.e. triggering it via MIDI without Drumagog in the project? Re-installing probably would only help if Drumagog had problems when running on it's own, but it sounds like it's working by itself. The usual cause of the issue you're describing is the trac...

Drumagog works as an insert effect on an individual drum part, so you would need to split the outputs of your drums so that each drum is on it's own track (i.e. a kick track, snare track, etc). If you have all the drums routed through one stereo track and insert Drumagog, the plugin won't know the d...

I've just tried Drumagog 4.11a in Audition 3, and was able to freeze and unfreeze the track without losing Drumagog's settings (as well as save and re-open the project without loss). It sounds like you may still have 4.10, so I'd recommend re-downloading the 4.11a update (you may have a corrupted do...

You can also use something like MIDI Pipe or MIDI Yoke in hosts that don't support MIDI out from plugins to re-route the MIDI stream back to a track. And while I don't know if Rim has looked into Drumagog exporting standard MIDI files, we do have some ideas on ways to bypass the limitations of hosts...

Hello, Do you only have the latency issues when using Drumagog with BFD? If you haven't tried, change the Drumagog sound from "BFD" to one of the Drumagog Gog Files and see if there is any improvement. Also, are there any other plugins on the audio track containing Drumagog? If Drumagog (F...

The Pro and Platinum versions of Drumagog have a similar option. You can enable a MIDI output, using the advanced tab, and designate what MIDI note and channel to generate. Drumagog will then output MIDI information based on it's triggering, which you can then route to a MIDI track to record/quantiz...
