Oh, and one other item. You need delay compensation turned on for BFD (check the same way I mentioned earlier, checking the VST properties window).

The reason Drumagog does not work with the DXi version of BFD1 is because the Direct-X plugin standard does not support how Drumagog and BFD transmit data back and forth, bypassing the host application. The two plugins are custom written for each other, and this is the only way, with current technol...

If you could open Drumagog in another VST app (like Fruity Loops), then it sounds like Drumagog is correctly installed. You are correct about unlocking, which needs to be done post-installation. Once you do get Drumagog to open in ACID it should already be unlocked (if it is unlocked in Fruity Loops...

Hello, From your description of the problem (the Drumagog .dll files are present in your VSTPlugins folder, but ACID doesn't list them in the VST Effects Menu), it sounds like Drumagog may not be fully installed, so ACID doesn't recognize it. As it sounds like the disc you received in the retail box...

Double-check the versions you have installed, as the only setting in SONAR that controls delay compensation is the one in Plugin Properties. Everything else is rather automatic. The proper version of BFD is 1.5.46.10, and Drumagog should be 4.11. If you are still experiencing a delay from BFD's outp...

It sounds like either the user account you are logged into doesn't have permission to edit those folders, or those folders are inheriting their properties (in this case read only) from a higher-level folder/partition. In the first instance, log in as a user with permission to modify those folders. I...

You can disable delay compensation per plugin. Open the instance of Drumagog and click on the "VST" pull-down menu at the top of the plugin window. Choose "Plug-in Properties", and make sure "Enable Delay Compensation" is checked. This is how it appears in SONAR 7 and 8...

You will receive that error when you try and save a file in a read-only location. Check the permission/file properties of the folder you are trying to save in, as it sounds like it's set to read-only. I believe the Steven Slate folders are set to read-only by default, so in order to save a Gog file ...

You may need to reinstall Drumagog to reset the data connection between the two. Make sure that Drumagog is installed in its default location, as there are necessary files inside the Drumagog folder that BFD needs to find, and BFD only looks in the default "HD Root\Applications\Drumagog" l...

What's the amount of delay you are experiencing? An exact, unchanging amount of delay sounds like SONAR's Delay Compensation is not running. Make sure compensation is turned on and that you are using the "Fixed Latency" version of Drumagog.

Are you using a virtual MIDI device, like MIDI Yoke, to accomplish this? The most common cause of what you describe is usually the 3rd-party utility adding some latency to Drumagog's output, though usually it stays stable and only needs to be moved once. AutoAlign is something that requires audio on...

Hello, From your description, it sounds like you may need to adjust your trigger engine settings, as Drumagog seems to be struggling to align the replacement audio. The usual procedures are: 1. Switch between Pyscho-Acoustic and Actual Peak mode 2. Change Auto Align profiles 3. If the replacement sa...
