I see what you want to do. However you create the Drum MIDI file is irrelevant. Maybe you type it in, play it in via keyboard or pads. That part doesn't matter. What you need to do, after the MIDI track is composed, is to 'split out' each drum MIDI note. Usually C1 is the kick, D1/E1 is the snare, e...

It sounds as if you want use Drumagog as a sample 'player'. Then yes, you would need to split out the MIDI notes to INDIVIDUAL MIDI tracks and insert a Drumagog into each track. You then go to the MIDI section and set Drumagog up accordingly. I don't mean to steer you from Drumagog - as there is not...

I don't use Drumagog on a Mac running DP. But... try this: not always is C1, in a given DAW, the same as C1 in Drumagog. Try changing the MIDI note in Drumagog up or down in increments of an octave. Or have a keyboard controller sending via a record-enabled MIDI track routed with Drumagog inserted a...

Save what you've tracked and do another take. Maybe you have too many plug-ins open, or your computer needs more processing power, or there's a clocking issue. When I track the drums - usually the last step using Drumagog and BFD - I'll restart the computer, turn off every unused plug-in and mute ev...

First... you MUST have either DrumagogBFD or Drumagog Platinum. Next, Drumagog MOST definitely works with BFD (1 or 1.5). Does it work with BFD2? I don't know. *** Concerning BFD1/1.5, you only need one open. You do need to insert a Drumagog into each track that you want to replace/enhance. You can ...

Just so it's clear... Drumagog is best used to replace individually recorded drums. That is a kick recorded to a single track, a snare recorded to a single track, each tom recorded to a single track. You can (I've heard) split up/out a single track with two or more drums recorded -- sounds rather te...
