Re: Audio clipping on output?
In cubase, turn the channel trim down a few db. What is probably happening is, since the sample is going to be the same volume as the hit that triggers it, you are clipping something later in the signal chain.

Re: Room faders
Cool. I've only been using it for about a month and I already have had to save 14 different versions of a single kick gog to accommodate the variations from song to song and session to session.

Room faders
For some reason, the position of the room faders doesn't save with the nuendo session. When I close a session and open it back up, it goes back to the position that is saved in the gog file and not where they were when the session was saved. Is this normal? It does the same thing when you copy and p...

The easiest way to do this is to use Ddrum triggers when you record the performance. You can just plug them into you mic preamp like you would a mic. Beyond that, I've found that with fast stuff you need to turn off 'auto align' and use actual peak. The rest is just getting rid of as much bleed as y...

@ Farview - are you saying that those are 100% replacements ? Yes. The only thing that was 'real' in that example were the overheads. If so, thats quite incredible with a normal mic! (what snare mic did you use BTW?) It was a 57. The main reason that it worked was because he wasn't playing much els...

If you are using Ddrum triggers, you should be able to set Drumagog to pick up everything by dropping the sensitivity. This shouldn't be a problem because there shouldn't be any bleed. This clip ( OddesyeRD3Demo ) uses Drumagog on all the drum tracks and has very quiet dynamic rolls that transition ...

If you are using Cubase or Nuendo, you would just: 1. Create a stereo track 2. Drag the audio from the snare track to the new stereo track 3. Insert Drumagog on the stereo track. This assumes that the snare gogs you are using are stereo. All of the snare gogs on Rock Drums 2 and 3 are stereo and mos...

In cubase, double click on the snare track to bring up the editor. Right click and choose plugins and find drumagog. Set up drumagog with the snare you want and hit process. It is now permanent. The other way to do it is to freeze the track. It's kind of hard to explain, just look up freze track in ...
