Steven Slate drums are worth every penny. They sound amazing. The new set of "fat toms" are unbeleiveable. I have DFHS and it doesn't come close.

For complicated rolls I usually cut and paste that section of the song onto another track to allow for different settings in drumagog. Make sure your dynamics are turned up a lot and make sure your detail slider is picking up more detail. Also if the original track has very light hits, make sure the...

Can't create gog

I tried to create my first gog today and it said that the feature was only available if I purchase drumagog. Since I did purchase it, I was wondering how I can fix this.

Yes, you can buy drumagog without BFD and use the Steven Slate samples. Which is what I did on my last recording. The Steven Slate sample library is amazing, especially the kick drums. Well worth every penny.

What I did when layering 3 snares together was mix down a wave file with snare 1. Then another with snare 2, and again with snare 3. I inserted each wave file as it's own track and then removed the drumagog plugin. This gave me a lot of flexibility when it came time to mix. Once everything was trigg...

Need metal toms

I'm looking for a good set of toms for a metal recording I'm working on. I absolutely love the sound of the Steven Slate toms but there's too much ring for these songs. But I'm looking for something with those tonal qualities.

Thanks for the reply. I'm using Cubase SE, not sure if that compensates for it or not. Even if I have to nudge the tracks, it doesnt seem like it would be too difficult.

haven't purchased yet- a couple of concerns

I just want to ask a couple of questions before I purchase drumagog. What I would like to do is replace toms, snare and bass drum but keep the overheads and hi-hat mics from the live kit. I tried out the demo version and had no problems replacing sounds, but I noticed if any of the live tracks remai...
