Hello,
Drumagog does not recognize rimshots as anything other than another snare hit. If you want to use Drumagog to trigger Addictive Drums and play a rimshot, you need to select the appropriate rimshot MIDI note in the Plugin Settings window.

Re: Trigger on both Midi note on and off
Hello, This is an interesting issue. It could depend on what the host uses for MIDI On and Off messages. Please send us the MIDI file so we can recreate this situation. Send to support@drumagog.com. Otherwhys, as a workaround, if you strip out the note Off messages you should be fine. Drum's don't u...

Re: Authorization Problems
Hello,
Over the holiday weekend our authorization server was down for a short time. It has since been rebooted and is now fully functional. You may attempt to authorize your copy of Drumagog 5 again and should have no troubles. We apologize for any inconvenience.

Re: Save new Gog file.
Hello, Just to clarify, what you want to do is take an existing GOG file, make some changes to it, and save a copy of that GOG file? Is that correct? The quickest way to change an existing GOG file without overwriting the original would be to go outside of Drumagog, through Finder/Explorer to that p...

Re: How to make room and OH samples?
Hello, Direct (or close mic'd) samples have to be imported first. You just drag and drop them from the Drumagog file browser into the samples window. Anything in the samples window is considered a direct sample. To add a room or overhead sample, you also drag and drop that sample from the Drumagog f...

Re: INSTALLATION ISSUE IN SONAR 8 PRO
Hello, Just to clarify, the Add from File feature is just in Drumagog 4, which I assume is what you are referring to?. There had been reports of problems with the file browsers in Sonar x64 and Drumagog 4 not working well together. We've tested this in other audio programs, and have not had any issu...

Re: INSTALLATION ISSUE IN SONAR 8 PRO
Greg, Unfortunately since the issue is between Cakewalk and Pace, we have no way of telling how far along the solution is. We do know that they are working on a fix at the moment. Until then, you could try downloading any free DAW in the meantime to try authorizing Drumagog 5 (i.e.Reaper) Cheers, Jack

Re: INSTALLATION ISSUE IN SONAR 8 PRO
Greg, Sonar x64 is currently buggy with Pace drivers, and Cakewalk and Pace are currently working to resolve this. However, if you can authorize Drumoagog 5 with Challenge/Response in any other audio program, Drumagog will work with Sonar (once it's authorized once on the system, it's authorized in ...

Re: Plugin not allowing saves in Protools when activated..
Butch, One thing to check is that I know with BFD2 and Windows 7/Vista and Pro Tools, you need to have UAC disabled in order to prevent BFD causing access violations. From your descriptions, it sounds like this is BFD that is giving you the error. I think they may have fixed this in a later BFD upda...

Re: Basic 5 saving groups?
Hello, The group settings are saved as part of your GOG file, and not part of the project. This is true for all versions of Drumagog. This means that you need to save your edited GOG file, and everytime you load that GOG your group settings will show up. And yes, you can create your own GOG files in...

Re: I have no sound from my Drumagog
Macca, It sounds like the last time you used the demo, you saved your project with Drumagog set to Live mode. Unfortunately, Drumagog Basic does not include Live mode (the demo is modeled after the Platinum version). This would be why you're getting this error. Re-instantiate Drumagog on that track ...

Re: Stupid Newbe Question
Hello, The reason why you were hearing flams, is because Pro Tools 8 LE doesn't offer plugin delay compensation. So Drumagog's output were delayed 80 ms, compared to the rest of your tracks. Switching to live mode can help, because live mode has a much lower latency, but it isn't as accurate as adva...

Hello, There isn't a Sidechain bleed featurein Drumagog. However there is a similar sidechain called "Auto-Ducking", located under the Settings tab. Is that what you're referring to? Our Getting Started Manual is located for download here: https://drumagog.com/support/downloads We are curr...
