The iphone and iphone 3G have the same processor and memory as far as I know. Only the 3GS has a new processor.

I knew when buying it wouldnt work for my iphone 2G, but just posting to say I have the no audio problem as they described above, and I am running:

The hardest part of using this app for me is using the same hand for snare and bass drum. So, combine using the touchscreen for everything but bass drum, and plugging the cable the iphone comes with in, which has a microphone on, and setting it by your foot to listen for tapping.
