Greetings, I'd like to send midi using the midipipe to the Reason redrum. I've tried settting up the pipe as a new control surface in Reason but am having no luck. i can use the midi feature to trigger all of my other VIs but having trouble getting reason configured. Any Reason -Gog users out there?

I tried reinstalling as I was having the same problem with PT 8. Gog loads on one track. When I load on a second I get this error message:

error opening midi out (port midi: bad pointer)

Audio works intermittently. One take it's there, the next it is gone.

Any advice?

Just installed the basic version. What are the best samples/ settings to use for drum rolls, grace notes etc. Most of the simpler patterns I record ( I am a drummer ) track fine.
When I do more complex playing alot of the subtle data does not playback.

Just signed on. I just purchased the basic program using Pro Tools 8. I've downloaded the samples but am not clear how to install them.
